Introduction:
This privacy policy applies to the use of the “Voice Surfer” browser app, which is made available in the Meta Quest Store. This statement describes how we, [Nau-Hau GmbH], process personal data in connection with the use of Voice Surfer.
Data we do not collect:
Voice Surfer does not retain any personal data of its users. We do not gather or keep details like usernames, email addresses, or location information, nor do we track browsing history. Additionally, we do not store any eye movements or behavioral patterns within the headset. We do not have access to microphone data. All voice commands are processed locally on the device without being recorded or stored by us. This ensures that all microphone inputs and browser interactions remain private and are not retained on our end.
Visiting Cleartext HTTP:
As a user of our application, it’s important to be aware that when visiting websites that do not use encrypted communication (HTTPS), your data may be transmitted in cleartext. This means any sensitive information sent over these websites could potentially be intercepted and read by unauthorized parties. We strongly advise users to be cautious when entering personal information and to prefer websites that support HTTPS, ensuring a secure and encrypted connection for your data.
Data collected by third parties:
When downloading and using the app in the Meta Quest Store, certain information may be collected by the store operator by default. This includes IP address, device information and usage data. Please see the Meta Quest Store Privacy Policy for more information about their data collection practices.
